ALMA marched in the Sydney Mardi Gras in 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2005. Some of our entries had floats, giant props, and up to 40 women. Others were walking entries with a dazzling handful of lesbian doctors. We also participate regularly in Melbourne and Adelaide Pride Marches. It's a way of letting the community know there are lesbian doctors out there - and it's loads of fun! Let us know if you would like to be part of Mardi Gras or a Pride March in your area.
