Conference 2007:

1. Ethical Leadership by Leslie Cannold

2. Same-sex relationships, death and the law   Note: this is a resources handout from a session by Carol, Kath and Sue. It is a guide only - seek legal advice for your specific situation.   No-one wants to think about what might happen if we or our partner died. But death and the law are part of life, and there is a lot we can do to ensure our relationships are recognised throughout our life, and in illness/after death. Same-sex partnerships are recognised or can be protected in most states, but not everyone (even hospital and funeral home staff) is aware of the law. As lesbians - and as doctors of lesbian patients - it's important to know where we stand.

Health Tip

Women over 20, is your health worth 15 minutes a month? Monthly breast self-exams increase your chances of finding breast cancer early.
