It can be hard enough getting through medical education, without feeling like you are the only lesbian in the course (or in the whole of medicine). Don't worry - you're not!

There are quite a few lesbian med students in ALMA. We have a Student Representative on committee, who is a good contact if you would like to chat to someone.

It's only $10 for students to join ALMA, conference registration is free, and we can often provide subsidies for you to travel to the conference. So come along or drop us a line.

Health Tip

Women over 20, is your health worth 15 minutes a month? Monthly breast self-exams increase your chances of finding breast cancer early.
